Please be advised that the blue slide that is part of the climbing structure in Laughlin Park has been recalled by Health Canada because of safety concerns. City staff will put hoarding up around the slide on Saturday, March 3. Please help spread the word to your friends and neighbours who use the park. I’ll provide more details about the replacement of the play equipment as soon as my office has more information. I understand that this slide has been used in other parks in the city and also will be replaced in those parks.
