Come out to the 2nd ever Stone Soup Supper on May 30th, 6 p.m. at the Barns. This is a pay-what-you-can non traditional potluck event with a suggested donation of $5/person or $10/family of four. The first Stone Soup, held in February, attracted nearly 400 neighbourhood residents for an evening of live music, storytelling, and community!
Councillor Mihevc, the Wychwood Barns Community Association and Carolyn Bennett are organizing the supper and will provide 2 types of hearty and healthy soups (1 vegetarian). Please bring along a contribution of a dessert or a wedge of cheese to share. Also please bring your own bowl and spoon! There will be entertainment over the course of the evening and at dusk we will be screening The Princess Bride outside in the park!
Please register for this event (so that organizers know how much soup to make!) by calling Laura in Councillor Mihevc’s office at 416 392 0208 or by sending an email to lkeresz@toronto.ca listing your name, phone number and how many will be attending.
Volunteers are also needed for this event! If you are interested in volunteering please contact Laura in my office at lkeresz@toronto.ca or by phone at 416 392 0208.
