Eglinton crosstown LRT project map

The Eglinton Line

The Eglinton Crosstown is a 19-kilometre light rail transit (LRT) line currently being constructed across the Eglinton Avenue corridor.  The line will operate across Eglinton Avenue between Weston Road (Mount Dennis) and Kennedy Station. The portion crossing within Ward21 is part of a 10-kilometre underground section that runs between Keele Street and Laird Drive.  Ward 21 has two stations: Cedarvale and Forest Hill.  Metrolinx, an agency of the Government of Ontario, is building the Crosstown as part of its regional transportation plan.  Service will begin at the end of 2021.

I meet regularly with Metrolinx, and visit the sites to discuss construction, resident feedback and advocate for change in an effort to mitigate the various impacts from the project.  Included in that is staying in touch with the needs of the local Business Improvement Association on Eglinton.  Please stay in touch with our local businesses continue to support the Upper Village!
