The Market is finally home at the Barns!. Come out this Saturday to the Stop's Green Barn Farmers Market and try some of Monforte's delicious cheese, have some fresh whitefish from Georgian Bay and check out the offerings from Forbes Wild Food Crafter. The Market has more then doubled in size, and now boasts 40 vendors. Visit the open studios of Barn 1, enjoy the new playground in the park, and then head up to St. Clair to do some holiday shopping. For sale at the Tollkeeper's cottage are some pioneer-style draft-stoppers, pincushions and sachets of cedar to hang in the closet to deter moths. you can also obtain wide cedar shakes to use in cooking planked steak or fish over the holidays. You might also wish to purchase a cedar shake on which you can write the name of someone you wish to memorialize; these shakes will be mounted on the porch roof this spring - a process in which you can participate!
